The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, located in Hollywood, Florida, has a relatively short but eventful history. The casino first opened in 2004, offering over 100 table games and more than 2,000 slot machines, making it one of the largest casinos in South Florida.
In 2007, the Seminole Tribe of Florida acquired the Hard Rock brand and began an ambitious expansion project. This included a major renovation of the Hollywood property, which included the addition of a new hotel tower, a larger casino floor, and new restaurants and bars. The expansion was completed in 2019, with the addition of a massive new guitar-shaped hotel tower, which is now one of the most iconic landmarks in the area.
